All so beautiful! So glad you are having a wonderful time and taking time for the little luxuries along the way. I’ve never been to Yellowstone. Must do it. Tent camping in Theodore Roosevelt NP and woke up to bison snuffling about a foot from my head in the tent. Scary. On the cooking front, you could have used sardines. Would have added umami, just not as focused as anchovies. Are you grocery shopping as you go or did you plan meals and groceries before you left?
Loved your bison!! I lived in Cheyenne a LONG time ago (OMG - 48 years ago when I was MUCH younger). My roommate and I drove to Wind River over Labor Day weekend - in my tiny Honda Civic. Drove over a hill and there was a herd on the road in front of us. We sat there for a very long time waiting for them to move on . . . Be careful of all the critters out there!!!!!!!
What beautiful scenery! I am traveling vicariously through you. I love the falls video, absolutely beautiful. I hope to make it one day; and if I do, I will know how to dump the dump! Until then I will be following along. Stay safe, have fun.
Now I'm vicariously reliving one of my family's peak experiences through you two. I'm certain Diane, Ariel & I stayed at that same campground our first night (closer to the south entrance and on the lake).
So glad to know you're having a blast on this great adventure.
Enjoying the adventure vicariously. We just left Paris and are heading to our barge canal in Burgundy. Not roughing it at all!

I love the video of the lower falls. It reminds me of our trip to Yellowstone when we did that hike and saw the falls. Thanks for sharing your trip!
Great pics!
